Ellen White Question:

I'm being a bit lazy and didn't want to search around and read the Q&A section of the Ellen White Estates. I'm not sure if you know this answer or not, but I was curious about the Conflict of Ages series and Ellen White's writings. In the case of the Conflict of Ages Series, are her writings dreams/visions she had from God or more inspiration? I'm just curious when we are reading such incredible details about Bible stories that those details aren't in the Bible, was this more Ellen White making the story more interesting or truly came from God as this is what really happened? For example, I just posted about the flood and how she writes that even Satan himself was scared for his existence. Did she write this to really drive the point home on how devastating the flood was or did in fact Satan truly fear for his own life?

I've really been enjoying what I've been reading and learning things I never knew/heard when we tell Bible stories. Like I never thought of the Tower of Babel actually having apartments and people living in it - I truly thought of it as a tall tower. But the whole thing makes more sense and I really enjoyed understanding the connection of the Tower of Babel after the flood and the commands God gave Noah's family. Things I never got from reading just the Bible.
