I learned some new things about the story of baby Moses - I didn't realize he was only 3 months old when Jochebed put him in the basket. Also, I always had this understanding that the King's daughter took the baby because she wanted her own baby and was happy to come across one. But Ellen explains how the King's daughter had sympathy on the woman who "resorted to this means to preserve the life of her precious little one." pg 243
