For those who will be reading through the Conflict of Ages Series, here is a place for you to post comments and questions about your readings.
The Conflict of Ages Series consists of the following books by Ellen White:
vol 1 Patriarchs and Prophets (PP)
vol 2 Prophets and Kings (PK)
vol 3 The Desire of Ages (DS)
vol 4 The Acts of the Apostles (AA)
vol 5 The Great Controversy (GC)
Our reading schedule is set M-F, allowing the weekend time to catch up or to have a break from reading. The schedule is to read 10 pages a day. We plan to have read through the entire series in a little over a year.

pg 35 -- must remember that love for one another is suppose to be confiding and unselfish.
ReplyDeletepg 34 - "God desires from all His creatures the service of love--service that springs from an appreciation of His character. He takes no pleasure in a forced obedience; and to all He grants freedom of will, that they may render Him voluntary service."
ReplyDeletePg 35 - "There was one who perverted the freedom that God had granted to His creatures."
An interesting thought that God's laws = freedom. And to deny those laws (a reflection of His character, to no longer reflect that character) brings about rebellion.
I like the "little by little"... as it so happens with us all still today. (The devil has not changed his ways...)
pg 35 - "Little by little Lucifer came to indulge the desire for self-exaltation."
